Mark showed us the trailer to the project, and having watched this we got into debate on what the lost generation means. Everything that was said in this debate was directly posted to the social network site 'Twitter' which enabled the public to view a live time log of the debate, and aid the debate with their own contributions, which in turn promoted out performance at the end of the week.
After a lengthy debate, in which we touched upon the political views and what the older generation thought about our generation. We developed short films on the topics which were bought up in convosation. We progressed with these ideas and turned them into site specific instillations. This involved using technologies such as QR codes, youtube, (which will be were the public view out videos) and the online game SCVNGR, in which you have to complete a number of challenges to earn points, to gain a reward, in this case, the reward was a map which took you to the next point of the show where a QR code was situated and that lead you to one of the films we did.
All the tweets we tweeted during the debate and the rehearsal process can be found if you search #lostgen on twitter.
